Last ride at the beach

I just got back a little while ago from what was probably my last bike ride in Naples. At least for a long while. I managed a little over 25 miles.

I started a little late. I got up early, but fell asleep again on the couch. So I didn’t leave until around 9 o’clock. The weather was nice, but there are three times as many cars out now as during the off-season, and I expect the later start meant more traffic too.

I stopped and looked for the dolphins again, but I only found a couple of idiots in a boat. Really they weren’t doing anything all that noticeably idiotic, but they were there and the dolphins weren’t so…idiots!

Now I’m watching a few minutes of CNN and drinking a cup of coffee while I write this. This afternoon I’ll be working on packing some things up and getting ready for the drive to NC later in the week.
