Water Phobia

I guess I have a phobia of water, because I skipped out on my ride this morning. There was still too much water on the ground from all the rain, and too many clouds in the sky that continued to threaten yet more rain.

Or is it that I just don’t want to have to clean my bike after a ride?

Either way, I simply went back to bed this morning for another hour of sleep.

Perhaps if the sun comes out and dries the roads later today I might still consider some sort of ride. I need to coax Marcella to start getting out on her bike too.

    As I take it, yesterday was not the type of morning to begin to coax Marcella. I’m sure there will be some excellent mornings for riding soon!

    No, not the right morning to get her out. I think we’ll wait until one of those “excellent” mornings comes along, and I expect you are correct and they will come along soon. I’m just impatient for them.
