This is part of the path I went cycling on this morning. It is known as the Greenway. It was a little chilly, but pleasant.

I have no explanation. It’s a biscuit with a fork.
I did get out this morning for a bike ride. I took the fixie out and rode over to the greenway and did some riding. I didn’t push it too hard, but it was nice to get back out in the saddle. I think it’s been three or four weeks.
I took my camera along and stopped and took a few pictures along the way. I don’t know yet how any of them turned out. If there’s anything good I’ll post a link to it. The one picture I most would have liked to get I didn’t. I just couldn’t get the bike stopped, and the camera out in time to get the deer crossing the path. They completely disappeared into the woods within moments.
It was a nice morning out—cool and crisp, but sunny. I haven’t checked the stats, but I know I did 12 miles, but I don’t know what the average was. Probably very low, plus I was stopping to take pictures. That’s okay though.

Christmas day. This was taken with a little pair of holiday glasses that Marcella has…imagine them like the 3d glasses you get at the movie theater. The lenses take points of light and turns them into the word “JOY.” I draped them in front of the lense just to play around as if they were a lens filter. I took multiple shots, both in color and black and white. I decided that black and white isn’t what you expect for a christmas tree so I went with the surprise value.
Shot in low light at high ISO, so there’s a lot of noise that I tried to clean up with iPhoto, although the effect isn’t entirely uninteresting while in b&w.
I have a tripod now…yay!
