82/365: nettles and warnings

I took this one at lunch just off the greenway path. There is one of those cut-throughs for a pipeline of some sort that crossed the path.

I don’t suppose the little foliage tops I’ve captured here are technically nettles, although the word was very much in my mind as I traipsed through the brambles and other undergrowth to get near to them for the picture.

At warmer times of year I would never get to this point without being exceptionally determined because the growth would be much much denser.
