Nearly a year ago I began a Project 365. An undertaking to shoot a photograph a day for an entire year, and post them to the internet. If my calculations are correct, that year will end this upcoming Saturday. It’s hard to believe an entire year has passed since I began this. After I’ve completed it I intend to write a brief post summarizing what it’s been like for me, and what aspects of it I feel were a success and what were not.

I’ve been cross-posting the photographs to this blog, but the best viewing has always been over at Flickr. Here’s a quick link to the entire 365 set so far.

I will say that I don’t intend to continue this project for another year, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop taking photographs. Just that I think I’ll follow my specific attractions a little more carefully, and do projects that have a particular interest or fascination for me at the time, but that I can complete in a fairly compact window of time.

Also, I’m hoping that I can start writing a little more again here at Basic_B. Writing about things beyond just photography and bicycle riding. I know the subject matter has been pretty thin here for the past year.
