Barns I’ve seen

These photos were taken during my bike ride this morning. The black and white, somewhat more decrepit barn was taken at around the 13 mile mark. The other one, the red barn, was taken about a mile and a half later.

It was a surprisingly cool day for for this time of year. It might have been right about 70 degrees when I left the house this morning.

Not too much to report from the road. I did see a couple of deer…one alive and one, sadly, dead.

I did a few miles less this week than last. I sort of wanted to get back to watch the Tour de France, and that’s what I’m doing now while I write this. Total miles about 39, with an average of about 16.4 mph. The average pace of some of these rides is starting to pick up, and that’s a good thing.

Have a great day!

Rolling fields

I took this at around the 17 mile mark on this morning’s ride. It’s a few miles before the climbing starts. I was trying to capture some scenic looking rolling hills, but I’m not sure it really comes through. All total managed 50 miles with an average of 16.1 mph. I felt like it was a good morning out on the bike. Apparently however my map my ride app isn’t working correctly and didn’t send out any updates from the road. Too bad.
