One Week to Go until Tour to Tanglewood 2010

This morning I only rode 35 miles. I kept an average speed of 16.6 mph. I’m now backing off from the long mileage and hopefully letting the body repair itself and build back up for next weekend. The goal for the rest of the week will be maybe two short rides of 15-20 miles ridden easily, just to keep the legs aware that they are expected to perform, and a few yoga sessions to stay loose and relaxed.

I wanted to say Thank You to everyone who donated to support my ride at this year’s Tour to Tanglewood. I’ve hit my fundraising goal of $1000, which is pretty amazing. I’m very proud of all of you, and hope to do you proud next weekend. That’s not to say I won’t accept any more donations, Please Support me if you haven’t already by clicking this link .

Keep your eye on this blog next weekend. I do plan to post about the event and my experiences, although I probably won’t manage a full post until later in the afternoon or evening. There should still be some twitter/facebook updates during the event and from rest-breaks and the like. You can see the most recent updates right in the sidebar of this blog, but if you’d like to follow directly you can find the twitter icon at the top right of this page.
