Beautiful post time-change evening
Got home from work and did a quick workout—some crunches and curls and whatnot—gotta get the buddha slimmed down, and start getting into cycling shape again. I can’t believe how far I’ve backslid.
Anyway, when Marcella got home I suggested a neighborhood walk—and we just got back from that—and it was a very lovely evening out. That’s the nice thing about the hour whose loss I was lamenting on twitter this morning, it pays back later in the day. I’m looking forward to many more pleasant evening strolls through the spring and into the summer months. This is something I am fond of.
Strolling
Sometimes a long evening walk is just the ticket. I sometimes like to put in headphones and listen to a random assortment of music while I walk, but other times I like to just listen to the sounds around me.
I just got back from about an hour long walk. It wasn’t especially hard walking. I don’t think I’d call it exercise precisely, but it just feels good to be moving, and now it feels good to relax afterwards.
Lighter-fluid and honeysuckle
I love the smell of lighter-fluid and honeysuckle in the evening. It smells like…May in North Carolina.
